We had a few people tell us we that we were to young to get married, and to wait... I'm 22, and he is 25. Age has never been an issue to us, and although we realize we are young, we never once have doubted getting married.
Ok.... we're not that young. :)

Does being young pose some problems? Yes... I'm still in school, and he's the only one working... so buying a house has to wait until I'm out making some green. But I do not see how waiting until we are older will magically make us have a healthier and happier marriage. Rob and I are in love, and we knew almost from the start of our relationship, as a 10th and a 12th grader in high school, that we wanted to get married. We know marriage is going to be a lot of hard work, but we already have a lot of the tools we need since we have been dating for so long. Sometimes we jokingly say that we have dated longer than some people are married!
I am excited to marry Rob becuase he is my best friend. We don't live together right now, however, we hardly ever go a day without seeing each other. We tell each other everything, and have what I call our 'open door policy'. Basically, we tell each other right away if something the other did bothered us. This way, we never have any blowups, and we don't stew on something causing hurt feelings later. This policy is not always easy, but it saves a lot of tears and heartache later.
So, even though we're young, we know that getting married is right for us. We won't wait to get married because other people are not comfortable with our ages... we are getting married for us.
Anyone else find that people thought they were to young to get married?
