55 Days

Yesterday went well, we picked up my veil, and the flower girl dress. So, before I tell you about my momma's dress (yup! We found one!) I'm going to introduce you to my lovely flower girl! On my dad's side, I am the oldest grandchild, and my Uncle S has an adorable little girl, L, who I asked to be our flower girl! She is adorable, and since our ring bearer is so young, her being a little older is comforting knowing that our ring bearer will make it down the aisle!

I origanilly wanted her in an all ivory dress with and apple sash, to give our bridal party this kind of look:

However, when we got to the store, she found this one, and we all loved it! Look how precious this dress is! (Imagine it in apple)
Style H8052

The back has a corset-esq tie so that the apple ribbon runs down the back! To cute!

Did your flower girl help pick out her dress?

I'm sitting here waiting for my mommom to ring the doorbell, so I figured I would sit down and do a little research. Today we (my mom, mommom and myself) are all headed to David's Bridal to buy my veil, and to pick up the flower girl dress. While we are there, the three of us are going to look at some MOB and GOB (grandmother of the bride??) dresses. Here are some that I really like off of the Davids Bridal website for my momma!

My mom, unlike my pasty ass self, has a skin tone that would look amazing in a color like champagne, only maybe a little darker... bronze maybe.

What do you think of these dresses? Are they MOB enough?

Guess what Rob and I did yesterday...

did you guess yet? didja, didja??

We picked out and purchased his wedding band! Want to see it?

It is made of tungsten, which is perfect for Rob, who is hard on things, since tungsten is virtually impossible to scratch and is much heavier and denser than gold. Basically, I didn't care what kind of ring Rob decided on, I did hope that he would pick one that was white, to semi-match my band. However, when he put this ring on, both Rob and I knew this was it!

How did you and your fiance pick out their ring?
